Bill Helmstetter, Pastor
Jan and Bill Helmstetter have been at Life Cathedral since October of 2005. Jan works as an Executive Assistant in the Ambulatory Care Support Department at Valley Children’s Hospital. She is involved in leading Women’s Ministries and sings on the praise and worship team at Life Cathedral. The Helmstetters have been married for over 30 years and have a daughter, Shonda, who lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, Jeff and their son Oliver.
Bill has pastored previously in Carson City and Reno, Nevada, as well as Hesperia, California. He has a B.A. from the University of Nevada and an M.A. in Pastoral Ministries from the Church of God Theological Seminary, Cleveland, Tennessee.
Lisa Lamey, Minister of Music
Lisa Lamey is an ordained minister through the Church of God and received her B.S. in Music from Northwest Bible College in Minot, North Dakota. She has served the Church of God in multiple capacities including Sunday school teacher, youth leader and minister of music. Lisa has been at Life Cathedral since November 2006 overseeing the praise team, choir and children’s music programs. One of her greatest joys is leading people to the their Creator in worship.
Daryl Gutierres, Church Administrator
Daryl started attending Life Cathedral in 1985. He worked in several managerial positions in the newspaper and airline industries for 30 years before coming to work at Life Cathedral in March of 2010. His passion for men’s ministry keeps him active as a mentor/Bible teacher at the Fresno Rescue Mission and a Bible teacher in the Fresno County Jail. Daryl is married to Karlyn and their blended family includes five adult children and one grandson.
